Giving Thanks!

Happy Thanksgiving to all! I have much to be thankful for..... especially for my dear, dear Edie. It's crazy how much I love her and admire her. In the second grade curriculum in a Waldorf school, they learn about Saints and read fables. Edie is taking all the stories of Saints to heart and has developed an overwhelming desire to do good in this world. It's precious and admirable. I wonder sometimes how I got so lucky. So Larry Sparks was fantastic. Edie loved it. We were filthy dirty as we exited the cave.

I am hopelessly obsessed with the music of Yann Tiersen. It moves me. I am thankful for all of my teachers in this world-- good and bad, for the perfectly ripe avocado, for my yoga practice and study, for my dear friends, for music that slays me, and for the perfect turn of phrase that delights me. And of course, for Tomo&Edie organic baby kimono and Hisae, Tomo, Yusuke and Hiro.
