Kusakizome Tea (Kocha)

My house is filled with the aroma of tea. I love it. We did a tea dye bath today and all the Tomo&Edie organic baby kimono are soaking overnight in big vats of tea. They are a lovely reddish tan color which I love most of all. Edie has been cleaning around the kitchen with a toothbrush-- scrubbing all the tiny little areas that are hard to reach--a little trick she learned from Aunt Gwen. It's a good day to do it as there is tea splattered everywhere. We are tired from are travels but happy. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
